Engaging the Individual Animal

Comprehensive Pet Care

We use relationship-based, positive training to engage your pet as an active partner whose choices matter; good choices are rewarded and undesirable choices are not. Stop problem behaviors by teaching and rewarding the behavior you want.

Walk & Play

We are experts in play and enrichment. Walks and play are designed to exercise your pets’ mind, body and spirit. Come home to pets who are calm, confident and balanced, and who charm you and your guests with tricks and polite manners.

When you can’t be there to take care of them, we can. In addition to tending to basic needs, we’ll monitor their health, engage them in play and ensure they receive the attention and TLC they crave.

About Us

Honor Their Nature was founded out of a fascination with the natural instincts of dogs and cats, their adaptability to new situations, and their relationships with their people. Without question, bringing dogs and cats into the home and family has improved their quality of life in many ways. But it has also removed much of the natural exercise and stimulation that previously was provided by the very activities of survival. The busy lives of pet owners often leaves the family pet alone without opportunity for engagement with their world. And that can cause problems from bad behavior to bad health. We can help – with training, with exercise and play, and with basic care when you can’t be with them.

Guiding Principles

Dogs & cats experience love, affection, and connection with us.
Dogs & cats communicate with us constantly.
Dogs & cats crave play & engagement.
Dogs & cats think & make decisions.
Dogs & cats look to us to teach them our family rules.
Dogs & cats are naturally balanced in nature & spirit.
Dogs & cats owe us nothing but will give us everything.
